The annual workshop for new academic staff association presidents and presidents-elect will take place June 2–3, 2017, at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel. New academic staff association presidents and presidents-elect, as well as any second-year presidents who were unable to attend last year’s workshop, are eligible to attend.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the role and responsibilities of academic staff association presidents and their relationships with their members, executive, and committees; examine ways to build stronger associations and engage members; and, provide an occasion to meet and build a network among colleagues who are new presidents or presidents-elect of other associations.
All workshop documentation including the draft agenda, the REGISTRATION, hotel and travel reservations, and the Policy on Reimbursement of Participants’ Expenses for CAUT Workshops are all available. The Workshop will be conducted in English; there will be no simultaneous translation.

Assistance for an association’s president or president-elect will be provided on the same basis as for Council delegates.
